The Rules Are Your Friend

Come to this page to find Rules that are frequently broken and some that can help you save strokes
in the long run.  If you have a specific rules question, please e-mail the specifics of the situation
in detail to SNEWGA@aol.com.  We'll check it out and get back to you with an answer.

The rules keep the game fair for everyone.  Don't feel guilty if you call a player on a rules
infraction.  We all learn from our mistakes and pointing out a breach of the rules will help the
player learn to play the game according to the Rules of Golf.  Always carry your USGA Rule Book
in your golf bag.  It's indispensable.  It's really there to help you and to make the game more
enjoyable.
