Instructions for Submitting Tournament Results

In order to meet newspaper deadlines and to ensure tournament results are reported in the next day’s papers, the Public Relations coordinator MUST receive your information by 6 p.m. on the day of the event!

Public Relations Guidelines for Tournaments

1. Prior to the tournament, contact the public relations coordinator via e-mail or phone (LisaFernBoros@sbcglobal.net).  This will ensure that an appropriate plan will be put in place for her to receive tournaments results by 6p the day of the tournament and that she has the correct list of local papers to be notified of the results.
    

2. Once the tournament field is set, send a copy of the player roster (individuals, or teams & player names) as soon as possible.  It is preferable that roster is submitted using the Tournament Setup & Results template. 
    

3. SAME DAY OF TOURNAMENT: at the end of each day of the tournament, send results to the Public Relations coordinator, Lisa Fern-Boros, and to the website coordinator, Debbie Johnson via e-mail by 6 p.m.   Please use the Tournament Setup & Results template or the TPP scoring format and include individual or team names, home course, scores, prizes, and skill contest winners:

      Closest to the Pin:  Individual name / Club     Longest Drive:  Individual name / Club
