Tournament Pace of Play

SNEWGA, the CSGA, and the USGA are very concerned about maintaining a reasonable pace of play in tournaments that they conduct.

As such, both the USGA and the CSGA have set pace of play policies.

USGA Pace of Play Policy

CSGA Pace of Play

SNEWGA would like to eliminate rounds taking more than 4.5 hours.  The above policies have very clear definitions of "out of position".  These definitions will be used going forward, and groups out of position will be put on the clock.  The exact pace of play policy in effect will be distributed at each tournament.

Questions regarding this policy should be directed to the tournament director.
