Note: USGA has adopted changes in Handicap System Procedures for 2008.  Click here to read more.

All Clubs in Connecticut must be Handicap Certified by CSGA to be licensed to provide handicaps.  Certification must be completed at least once between 2008 and 2011.

The CSGA has stated that Certification is mandatory for all of its member clubs.

Certification must minimally be renewed every three years.  As long as a member of the club has attended a certification class within the last three years, the club has satisfied this step in the USGA license agreement.   Classes are given every year, and the class schedule can be found on CSGA's website, www.csgalinks.org.
