Points will accumulate over a two year period. Selection will be based on a two year point total equaling the sum of 25% of the player’s earned points for 2006 and 75% of the player’s earned points for 2007.

CT Women’s Open and State Amateur

Points will be awarded to the top 10 CT players and the medalist as follows:

2	90 Points
3	80 Points
4	70 Points
5	60 Points
6	50 Points
7	40 Points
8	30 Points
9	20 Points
10	10 Points
Medalist	15 Points

NEWGA Championship

Points will be awarded to the top 5 CT players and the medalist as follows:

1	75 Points
2	60 Points
3	50 Points
4	40 Points
5	30 Points

Tournament of Champions, CWGA Championship, SNEWGA Championship, WMGA Stroke Play Championship, and WMGA Met Amateur Championship

Points will be awarded to the top 4 CT players and the medalist as follows:

1	50 Points
2	25 Points
3	15 Points
4	10 Points
Medalist	15 Points

The selection of the State Team will use the point system as a guideline. There will be other intangible factors that are part of the selection process. They will include, but are not limited, to the following:
